Leaving a Legacy
Good day family,
Today I write to you with a saddened heart. A dear high school friend of mine has been laid to rest. She passed on due to a blood cloth in her brain. At the tender age of 27, she was called home. This post is in honour of my dear friend : Lerato Tsotetsi.
Her passing reminded me that no matter how big a plan we have for our lives, God's plan will always take preference. What we take from this world, will be paid back in full before we leave...
It is our duty to leave behind a legacy. A life lived to the full. Joy, happiness, laughter and love should fill our hearts to such an extent that it overflows into the lives of others. Live an honest and integral life. A life of purpose.
The bible says in Deuteronomy 30:19-20
"This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers.."
How about we give something to this world we live in as opposed to taking from it?! Leave a lasting legacy, one of great substance and be assured that it will be lived on in the lives of others forever.
R.I.P My friend, you will be deeply missed.
You Have The World At Your Feet.
Stay blessed.
Fabian Frank
