Stay strong and never depart

Good morning Family,

I trust that you all are well and that you have had a pleasant weekend.
Today's post is inspired by all the young adults out there who are living proof that "The joy of the Lord is their strength".

I come into contact with many people each day and the common factor of determining the good from the great is purely the presence of God in their lives'. We may not all be perfect in the ways of the world but we were perfectly crafted in the ways of the Lord.

Spending time reading and meditating on the word of God is essential to possess a purposeful life.
Both parents and children out there need to understand the following two verses in Scripture.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 29:15 The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother.

There's a substantial difference between good and great and the accordance of God is required to be seeked in order the make that jump. Very often we find ourselves hesitant because life is too hard or we aren't sure where we are going. It's time to worry less and pray more. Let God be the Potter and you be the Clay. That's the only way to truly experience the ultimate joy and success God has planned for your lives.

Do you see HIM?

Good morning Family,

Have you seen God? The way He looks, the colour of His hair, the colour of His eyes, the clothes He wears, the way He walks, the sound of His voice, the smile on His face, His laugh or even His touch? Not many people will answer yes to these questions so let's try something else...

Have you seen and heard a baby laughing? Have you seen a single mother working two jobs to support her kids? Have you seen a man with no legs still involved in the working environment? Did you see a sunrise or sunset? Have you seen a father who leaves work early just so he can make it to his son's football game?

Do you see God now?!
He's everywhere, in everything. He Is Everything!
From the little, all the way to the great. He is Everything!

All of creation has His stamp on it. You have His stamp on you. He dwells in you.

Isaiah 45:12 - "I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, [even] my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded"

Folks, there's purpose in your life. Worrying about tomorrow only robs you of today's peace. This has already been provided for. Stay in faith, God's taking you places.

What is LIFE?

Good evening Family,

Many of us reach a stage at some point where we ask the following question:

What is LIFE?

Well, it's quite an intricate answer... Intricate purely because we as individuals choose the scientific route to explain it instead of allowing the supernatural take its course. We want an in depth detail with definition of the mere four letter word.

Some may say LIFE is from B to D... Birth to Death. However, what is inbetween B and D? C of course. And what does C stand for? Choice! The choices we make dictates the lives we lead. Not true? Of course it's true.

The question about life has been haunting generations for centuries. Is it haunting you? Do you believe that you're not cut out for it? Not tough enough to handle what comes your way?

What if I told you that you don't have to journey this life alone and that there is someone who will walk with you and aid you throughout the entire course? You'd think I'm lying right? WRONG!!!

God is the be all and end all of life so why not seek Him before scientific explanation? We're stubborn that's why... We scared of the unknown so much that we choose to indulge into our merely pathetic reasoning as to why we exist or live.

Have I got your attention yet?
Well, look at this:

Romans 8:28 "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose"

The scripture doesn't say go out and find yourself... It says seek God and you will know yourself!

Here's some words to ponder over about life:
Love; peace; faith; hope; joy; sorrow; anguish; substance; unique; Divine; blessed; favoured; successful; strengthened; rejoice; humble; glorious; GOD!

Our time is NOW

Good day Family,

Been wanting to start a business?! Thought of writing a book?! Had an idea to make a difference?! Saw a need and wanted to fulfill it?! Have a burning desire to achieve greatness in your current works?! Felt the need to reach people and inspire?! Thought of changing the world through your everyday life?!

OUR TIME IS NOW!

So often we put off our dreams and aspirations and merely go through the motions of living an average life. We wake up in the morning, go to work or school, fulfill our ordinary duties and then return home and 'plonk' ourselves on the couch infront of the TV.

We've gained nothing by doing this. Infact we haven't even made a difference. We're merely existing without growing. Being better and doing better is a decision. A decision that opens the world of endless possibilities. Don't put off for tomorrow what you can do today.

Colossians 4:5
"Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time"

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
"To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven"

Get moving if you would like God to lead you, and when He speaks, LISTEN.

Good day Family,

Today's topic often leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. We as individuals fixate our energies on all the wrong things. We get side-tracked as to what really matters. What's not important shouldn't hold any weight in decison making.

When you focus on the end result, the "ooohhhsss and aaaahhhsss" are of no importance. You perform at the best of your ability to get the job done. No 'what if's' or 'if only's'. Just raw results. Life is that brutal so we as individuals need to stop making excuses for ourselves and get the job done. That's just the way it works.

Beating around the bush deliberating on the 'should have's' or the 'shouldn't have's' will get you nowhere. You need to get into the game.

Proverbs 13:4 "The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied"

Colossians 3:24 "Knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."

You take care of all the possible and God will take care of the impossible!

Determination

Good morning Family,

Determination by definition is:
1. The act of making or arriving at a decision.
2. Firmness of purpose; resolve.
3. A fixed intention or resolution.

When you arrive at a decision to endure, to go through, to pursue or to achieve, that act is known as determination. When you approach an obstacle, a challenge or even a duty in your everyday life with the right mindset to complete or overcome, that is determination. A decision so small yet so powerful. Your mind now says: "No matter what may come my way, I know that the power within me is far greater than the task ahead of me."

2 Timothy 4:7
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Psalm 27:14
Wait for the LORD;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the LORD!

Make that decision to take on life head on and believe in God to work miraculously in your life and you will see the growth... Not only within you but in your circumstances, in your working environment, in your relationships... Never give up!

There's no glory without guts!
