Fasting and Prayer

Good afternoon Family,

Fasting is a form of prayer. It's a direct sacrifice and discipline that you as an individual has to undergo if you choose to have a closer relationship with God.

How many times have we seen it when people embark on a fast, they scream it to the nations?! They use that to gain pity from others. Something that is so sacred, a covenant between you and God, yet so mocked by all those who fail to honour it in the correct manner.

How's you current walk of life? Are you happy with your relationship with God? Have you been working on your relationship with Him? Have you spent time with God lately? If not, when will you choose to step into God's splendour and majesty? Quiet time maybe? Little daily readings? A simple conversation with God?

Matthew 6:16-18

“And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. "

You are God's child! He loves you and wants to spend time with you! Let Him! Don't deny yourself the true greatness you were intended for.

You Have The World At Your Feet.

Stay blessed,

Fabian Frank
