Good afternoon Friends,
Mahatma Gandhi once said:
"Seek not greater wealth, but simpler pleasure; not higher fortune, but deeper felicity.”
How often do we spend time chasing after things of monetary value and we overlook all that currently puts a smile on our faces?! We go after what society proclaims to be wealth instead of finding what really makes us happy. Are we not losing the essence of life?!
Would you remember the last deal you've signed or would you remember the look on an orphan's face as you shared a meal with him/her?! This is the true wealth of life. Wealth that no one can take away from you. Acts of random kindness is what will bring true joy to your life. It's not something that needs to be discussed with people, rather it is something that is done out of love.
When we do something out of love, it's magnitude is great and its after effect is humility. The true measure of a man or woman is not the amount of money they have in their bank accounts but rather what dwells in their heart.
When last did you take a look into your heart?! Have you put into action what you said you would?! Have you been the difference and found joy, rather than requesting for a difference in search of joy?!
Friends, I plead with you, make the most of this precious gift of life and positively influence the lives of others. We have one life to live, so live it!
So many of us have made the statement: "I would die for you!"
But when have we ever said: "I will live for you!"
Choose happiness! Choose Life!
Until next time, You Have The World At Your Feet!
Stay in Faith,
Fabian Frank
